Looks like fall. Which is way nicer than the winter we have here! Are you using the ladder to climb the tree? Or climb out of the yard? Or to let someone in?
Behind my yard is an 800+-acre plot of farmland that will slowly become a public park. Right now, out in the fields, sometimes you can see foxes hunting gophers. Sometimes egrets. Ladder allows me to see over the fence with my camera. (see this post and this one)
